Vacancy: Senior Warehouse Supervisor – Finished Goods

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES

  • Manage the receipt and issue of finished goods, ensuring that they are in the correct quantities and in good order.
  • Ensure adherence to proper Stores Management.
  • Perform periodic product physicals.
  • Control investment in stock levels, stock records, and perpetual inventory system.
  • Responsible for monthly stock checks.
  • Ensure adherence to Company Policies and procedures, inclusive of those regarding GMP and HSE.
  • Prepare reports for submission to the Plant Manager as requested.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities performed by the administrative and warehousing staff of the department.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to all employees in the Finished Goods and Raw Materials Warehouses.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews to determine competency, knowledge, coaching and development needs.
  • Coordinate both training and mentoring of new hires while assessing and monitoring coaching and development initiatives of the existing employees.
  • Manage internal issues to resolve complaints, problems and discipline or reward staff accordingly.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Qualifications/Education:

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management.

Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals and Warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of computerized Warehouse Management System would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
