SALES PERSON

Applicants should possess the following:

  • A valid Heavy 'T' Driver's Permit and three (3) years' driving experience
  • A sound Secondary School education
  • Self-motivated with an interest in pursuing a career in sales
  • A willingness to be trained for the position

HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER

Minimum Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Degree in Health and Safety OR Certificate in NEBOSH with Degree in Environmental Sciences OR Diploma in NEBOSH (Level 6)
  • Working knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification) would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite


Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in Manufacturing Industry
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment would be an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence and an ability to work in challenging circumstances

ACCOUNTS CLERK

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

  • 1. Prepare accounting entries.
  • 2. Post all relevant information in the accounting system.
  • 3. Ensure Daily Sales and Collections report is updated.
  • 4. Prepare reports as required
  • 5. Code cash and cheque vouchers.
  • 6. Perform daily reconciliations of Salesmen's cash sheets and prepare deposits.
  • 7. Prepare orders for stationary (Order books, Invoice Books, etc…)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS /EDUCATION:

  • ACCA Level 1 or equivalent in another accounting designation.
  • 5 O' levels/CSEC inclusive of Math, English and Accounts

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years' experience in similar role
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of business and accounting
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
